One of our founders, Isa, grew frustrated that it became more and more difficult to find clothes other than sportswear as her shoulders and lats became wider, her hips became bigger and her waist became smaller. Dresses off the rack were always too tight at the shoulders and hips, and had a whole lot of excess fabric at the waist. Buying one size up would hide all her curves and make her look boxy. She ended up resorting to a wardrobe consisting of spandex, and cheap spandex.
